2012- 2013 Tiger Supplies: Technical writing job involved presenting, categorizing, and explaining industry specific tools. I also wrote general descriptions to be used in promoting the medical supplies site. For marketing through social media I collaborated with the marketing department and owner on strategies, enhanced and updated the business’s Facebook page with posts and pictures, and composed promotional emails. Twitter following increased 450%.
RCCS: I came up with the title for the cookbook, Dishing Out Miracles. I composed the book’s introduction and edited it to remove errors before printing. I composed emails sent out to request donations.
Ossie’s Toy Fund: I composed press releases, solicitation and thank you letters, and set up the web content with selected pictures for this nonprofit organization that delivers toys to sick children and their siblings for the holidays. I also promoted its key fundraising event through social media.

I created the concept and built the website that was transformed a few times while the publication was active. In its current form it remains up as a service to readers with some useful information, though it no longer is monetized. It still draws thousands of visits each year. The corresponding blog and Facebook page remain active and continue to drive engagement.
